First aid materials may include bandages, gauze pads or rolls, adhesive tape, antiseptic wipes, safety
shears or other materials that are non-therapeutic in nature. First aid materials shall NOT include
any medication which can be ingested such as aspirin.
All first aid materials shall be maintained in a sanitary and useable condition. The location, content and condition of each First Aid kit shall be initially approved by the CNSM Safety office, and the front of the kit must be labeled with the name of the person responsible for keeping the kit clean and appropriately stocked. All First Aid kits shall be inspected frequently by the most appropriate personnel.
