Basic Operating Rules for X-ray Machines

 

1. Machine to be operated ONLY by properly trained and authorized persons.

2.  Follow the operational guide/user’s manual when operating.  Operational guide is located _____________

3.  Dosimeters (body and finger) must be worn by operators as required by Radiation Safety.

4.  Machine may NOT be used if the safety interlock or radiation shielding are suspected faulty.

5.  Unit must be kept secured from unauthorized use when not under immediate supervision.
