Basic Operating Rules for Lasers

 

1.  Machine to be operated ONLY by properly trained and authorized persons.

2.  Follow the operational guide/user’s manual when operating.  Operational guide is located _____________

3.  Proper eyewear must be worn by operators if the potential exists for exposure of the eye to the beam.

4.  Machine may NOT be used if the safety interlocks or shielding are suspected faulty.

5.  Unit must be kept secured from unauthorized use when not under immediate supervision.
