Hands-on research and study is essential in the sciences; research leads to excellent teaching. Research in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at CSULB is one of the outstanding qualities of the college. The College supports faculty and student original research that create new knowledge, and to publish and present scholarly and creative works that advance the fields of science, mathematics, and education in science and mathematics.
