Prerequisite: admission to Science Education M.S. program. SCED 552 is a core course required of all Science Education M.S. candidates. The course looks at science from historical, philosophical, psychological, and sociological perspectives. The course examines perceptions of science and scientists, looking at science as seen in different cultures and times. The course also discusses using these perspectives to teach students about the nature of science.
