Coastal Cities of Santa Monica Bay

The coastal cities of the Los Angeles region include Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach at the southern end of Santa Monica Bay, up to Venice and Santa Monica at the northern end of the Bay. Industry in El Segundo, the runways of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and the channels and slips of Marina del Rey form a gap in the otherwise continuous spread of the coastal communities along the shores of Santa Monica Bay.
