About the Center

• History

The mission of the CSULB Science Learning Center (SLC), located in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics on the campus of CSULB and its outreach arm, the Mobile Science Museum (MSM), is to stimulate natural curiosity and nurture science learning through innovative hands-on exhibits and interactive displays.

Services Offered

The Science Learning Center (SLC) offers age-appropriate guided introductions to the many exhibits and displays for schools and other groups. The introductions are followed by open exploration periods. Docents are available to assist with questions during the explorations. The SLC also sponsors a Mobile Science Museum (MSM) that travels to local area schools and public venues to promote science awareness thru hands-on exhibits and displays.
