CNSM Transfer Students

Welcome to CSULB, the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM), and the Jensen Student Access to Science and Mathematics Center! We want to help you, the newest members of our CNSM community, acclimate to life at The Beach and be successful during your college years. The Transfer Student's Passport to Success [.pdf] outlines important deadlines and requirements needed to get started here at CSULB.

Transfer students are required to attend SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration), the University-sponsored orientation program. Specially selected SOAR sessions are designated for Natural Science and Mathematics majors this summer. These dates are Thursday, July 23, 2009 or Wednesday, August 12, 2009 (you are required to attend just one of these SOAR sessions). These specific dates have been designed to introduce you to CNSM advisors, faculty, staff, facilities, and resources that will increase your success at CSULB.

If you have not done so already, you are encouraged to register for the EARLIEST of these SOAR dates, in order to ensure that the courses you wish to enroll in are available. You can start signing up for SOAR workshops on April 20th. Spaces are limited.
