What is the LSAMP? CSU-LSAMP is sponsored both by the National Science Foundation (HRD-0802628) and the California State University, providing a statewide program for the enhancement of math and science skills for students have faced or face social, educational or economic barriers, majoring in science, technology, mathematics and engineering (STEM).
The goal of LSAMP is to support students as they successfully complete their academic degree program and enhancing their futures in the STEM disciplines. This program includes a summer workshop designed to prepare students for enrollment in calculus during the upcoming academic year, LSAMP Scholar Program and Research Fellow Program designed to support student involvement in activities that enhance graduate school readiness, and a Summer Research Program held in conjunction with Bridges to the Baccalaureate program to facilitate research understanding.
